Medford High School and the Medford Band Parent Organization are hosting a New England Scholastic Band Association guard-only show in the Cooper Gymnasium. Sixteen schools are scheduled to compete, including Medford High at 4:50 p.m. Other schools, in order of appearance, will be St. Ann’s (Dorchester), Plymouth High, Everett High, Auburn High, Triton High (Byfield), North Middlesex High (Townsend), Reading High, Wakefield High, Maine Attraction (Old Orchard Beach), Billerica High, Mansfield High, King Philip High (Wrentham), Salem (N.H.) High, St. Ann’s Independent A (Dorchester) and Dartmouth High. The awards ceremony concludes the event at 7:25 p.m. As set by NESBA, admission is $10 for adults and $8 for students. Children under age 5 are free.
