Tufts Composers begins a new season of New at Noon with “What Is This Sloppy Music?” “Mozart” (Mozahrt) was apparently once used as a nickname for “sloppy people.” Taking inspiration from W.A. Mozart’s striking Minuet in D, K.355, Tufts Composers have cobbled together solo instrumental pieces in response to its challenges with the promise that they’ll be cleaned up in time for performance.
