Tufts University composers offer new takes on “the rag” 100 years after Scott Joplin (1868-1917). The concert will feature music by Helen Abbot, Ryan Carraher, Julia Cavallaro, Jeannette Chechile, Alexander Hite, Micah Huang, Caleb Martin-Rosenthal, John McDonald, Edwin Munera and Fury Sheron, with special guest composer Joel LaRue Smith.
