The Medford Recreation Department concludes its summer outdoor movie series with a showing of the 1991 Steven Spielberg adventure/fantasy film “Hook” at Wright’s Pond. The movie (2 hours, 15 minutes long) will begin at 8 p.m., but come an hour earlier as the Rec Department will have music and lawn games set up onsite, along with free popcorn. In addition, the co-sponsoring Kiwanis Club of Medford will provide pizza, ice cream, and family-friendly pirate fun (pirate costumes encouraged!). Please bring a blanket, drinks (no alcohol permitted), and bug spray.
