Tufts Hillel is hosting its annual literacy carnival, Read by the River, at the Joyce Cummings Center on campus. All Medford students in kindergarten through grade 5 and their families or caregivers are invited to attend this campus-wide initiative that celebrates the love of books and reading. Student volunteers would partner with college students and help them run reading-themed booths, talk to kids, and have fun! The day will feature reading-themed activities led by Tufts student organizations and Medford middle school students, story time with a surprise guest, and more. Guardians are required to stay with their children for the duration of the event. Paid parking will be available in either the lot across the street or the Dowling Hall garage on Boston Avenue.
