Advocates for Quality Aging, a student group at Tufts University that partners with the Medford Council on Aging, is moving its book club meeting for seniors from Sundays to Tuesdays, in person at the Senior Center and with an option of participating via Zoom. Join Tufts students in reading books and short stories you love. Today, the club will read an excerpt from “The Blind Men and the Elephant” by James Baldwin. Advocates for Quality Aging was formed to help ease the social isolation of older adults during the pandemic, as well as provide geriatric volunteer opportunities targeted at pre-health students at Tufts.
