Guitarist and singer Peter “Joe Pete” Wetherbee brings his roots-rock trio Six is Nine to The Porch for their first Medford appearance.  The band, whose name is a reference to the Jimi Hendrix song “If Six Was Nine,” presents a mix of rockabilly, country, blues, ’50s–‘70s rock ’n’ roll, Louisiana Cajun/zydeco/R&B, plus a handful of like-minded originals. Joe Pete is also known for his work with Boston favorites the Boogaloo Swamis and Hubcaps. Other members of the trio are Brian Rost and Richard Malcolm. Free admission for the music; table reservations recommended if you plan to have dinner.
