Sláinte, a six-piece Irish-American folk rock, leads off the Friday music tripleheader at The Ford Tavern. Formed in a Boston College dorm room in 2013,  Sláinte plays upbeat arrangements of classic Irish pub songs and American rock ‘n’s roll, featuring rockin’ electric guitar and sax solos married with traditional fiddle and whistle parts. Following Sláinte at The Ford will be Affiliated Woodpecker at 5 p.m. and Katie O’Brien at 8 p.m.
