In an attempt to offer hope, light and beauty in a difficult time, Medford composer and conductor Oliver Caplan presents another of his weekly Wednesday night live-streamed solo performances featuring members of his contemporary chamber music group, Juventas New Music Ensemble. Performing this week will be clarinet player Wolcott Humphrey. Humphrey has performed in contemporary chamber ensembles in Ithaca and Providence as well as Boston, and he also was the principal clarinetist of the Salt Lake Symphonic Winds and the Fall River Symphony.

Visit the Juventas ensemble’s Facebook page promptly at 8 p.m. to enjoy the performance, which is free and open to all.
