Today is the closing day for the Medford Public Library’s temporary location at 200 Boston Avenue, and also the last day to pick up holds (until 5 p.m.). The book drop will be available for returns over the weekend of December 4-5 but it will be removed early on the morning of Monday, December 6. Please return items by December 5 or hold them until the library reopens in January. While the library is closed, items will not be due and holds will not be available for pickup. No fines will be charged in December and January.

Remember that while the library is closed, you can check out and return books at any Minuteman Library Network library with your Medford library card.

The new Charlotte and William Bloomberg library building at 111 High Street is expected to open on Monday, January 3.  A public open house at the new library is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 15, following a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
