The Porch Southern Fare & Juke Joint, the new restaurant featuring Southern food opening this summer at River’s Edge, presents its first live music night with The Minks, known as Nashville’s “psychedelic-bloos” band, heavy on rock ‘n’ roll. The band’s sound has roots from Lou Reed to Patti Smith, to Creedence Clearwater Revival to Hank Williams. Created by front woman Nikki Barber, The Minks this fall will be releasing their first full-length record, “Light and Sweet, through Cafe Rooster Records.

Also performing will be special guest Rolling Nectar, a stylish mix of  vintage heavy rock ‘n’ roll, soulful British blues, and Americana with psychedelic overtones.
