The Temptations and Four Tops

$49 – $99Chevalier Theatre welcomes back the legendary singing groups The Temptations and The Four Tops. The Temptations are most notable for success with Motown Records during the 1960s and ’70s. The group, whose hits include “The Way You Do the Things You Do” and “My Girl,” was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989. Current members are Otis Williams (the last original Temptation), Ron Tyson (a lead vocalist for 40 years), Terry Weeks (a lead vocalist for 25 years), Anthony Grant and Jawan M. Jackson.
The Four Tops were another group that established the Motown Sound heard around the world during the 1960s. Their first Motown hit, “Baby I Need Your Loving,” made them stars. Their No. 1 hit songs include “I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch)” and “It’s The Same Old Song.” The Four Tops were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990. Today the group consists of Ronnie McNeir, Lawrence Payton Jr. and Michael Brock.
Tickets are $49 to $99 through the Chevalier Theatre website/Ticketmaster. To avoid online ordering fees, purchase tickets at the Chevalier Theatre Box Office, which is open on Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 6 p.m., as well as two hours before every Chevalier Theatre show.
