The Royall House & Slave Quarters presents a talk by historian Eric Foner titled “The Unresolved Legacy of Reconstruction and the Fight for Social Justice Today.” Foner, one of this country’s most prominent historians, will lead an engaging discussion of what we can learn about present-day America from the failures of Reconstruction, and how sites of slavery can respond to our current moment.
