The Medford Family Network and Gaia Connections present the virtual workshop “Think Outside the Book: Talking Race, Gender, Disabilities with Young Minds.” Facilitated by Divya Anand, Ph.D, and Laura Hsu, Ed.D, the workshop will use children’s books to have critical conversations with young minds. Learn how to teach children to read against the grain, ask the right questions, and be critically conscious of differences in developmentally appropriate ways.

Each participant will receive a book along with its learning guide.
