Torn Ticket II, the only student-run musical theater group at Tufts University, presents the first of three performances of the sung-through musical “Falsettos.” Directed by Will Flamm, with music direction by Aviva Senzon. The play tells the story of a gay man named Marvin, his lover Whizzer, Marvin’s wife Trina and their extended family from the early ’80s through the early days of the AIDS crisis. Tonight’s performance is an open dress rehearsal; additional performances will be at 8 p.m. on Friday, April 21, and 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 22.
