The Medford Public Library invites you to learn about key concepts and terminology related to transgender identity, gain practical tools for being a supportive ally, and get your questions answered, all in a nonjudgmental setting led by award-winning consultant and speaker Nikk Cochran Selik. Special considerations for transgender children and adolescents will also be discussed. This program, part of the City of Medford’s Pride Month events, is family-friendly and suitable for all ages. Nikk Cochran Selik (he/him) is a consultant and speaker who has been working to promote awareness around transgender identity for over 10 years. Nikk lives in Medford and works for Fenway Health as a program coordinator.
