ArtsMedford (formerly Medford Arts Center, Inc.) invites you to the 11th edition of “Tuesdays with MARV,” featuring local artists and their work using MACI’s beloved Medford Arts Resource Vehicle. This week, artist Sarah Beardslee will show you how to make tin can earrings . . . a great way to recycle cans! This activity is good for ages 7 to adult, and no previous jewelry-making experience is needed. Kits will be available, upon request, to those who register for this event. Each kit will include punched-out can shapes, ear wires, head pins, and seed beads.

Sarah Beardslee has been designing jewelry and beaded gifts for 13 years. The creative process feeds her soul. By sharing her designs with the world, she aims to nourish those that encounter her as well. She is inspired by history, nature, and concepts from personal connections. Her creations have been shown at the West Medford Open Studios, Arlington Open Studios, the New England Gem and Mineral Show, and many other shows across Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Sarah is also co-president of the ArtsMedford, is a founding member of Arts Collaborative Medford, and is on the board of Bead Designer International (New England Bead Society).
