Tufts Children’s Theatre presents the first of four Magic Circle Theatre productions of the play “The Many Disguises of Robin Hood.” Taxes keep rising and so are the rewards for Robin Hood’s capture. As the evil Sheriff of Nottingham and a greedy prince are trying to exploit those who cannot fend for themselves, a group of adventurous outlaws led by the cunning Robin Hood are there to protect the people of this small medieval village. This fun, family friendly, and comedic version of a classic tale, performed by a talented cast and crew of Magic Circle students, promises adventure, surprises, and a meaningful story of connection.

Tickets are $10 through the Tufts online ticket office. Additional performances will be at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, and at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 19.

Magic Circle Theater is New England’s oldest theater by and for children and is a great opportunity to introduce children to theater. It will also present four performances of the musical “A Year with Frog and Toad” at the Balch Arena Theatre from August 6 through 8.
