FreeThe Tufts University Composers begin the fall semester series of New Sounds Now, featuring guest artist Elizabeth Reian Bennett playing the shakuhachi, a bamboo end-blown flute whose origins date to 16th century Japan. She performs and teaches frequently in Japan and worldwide.
