Nando Michelin’s small jazz ensemble performs a concert for children, part of the Tufts University Family and Children’s Concert Series. Michelin teaches at Tufts, the Longy School of Music, and Berklee College of Music, from which he graduated summa cum laude. He is currently recording and performing with his trio that features Esperanza Spalding on bass and vocals and Richie Barshay on drums and percussion, and with a quartet featuring Leala Cyr on vocals and trumpet, John Lockwood on bass, and Tiago Michelin on drums.
