A prince, a magician, and a magical bird! The Tufts University Wind Ensemble, under the direction of John McCann, brings the story of “The Firebird” alive with the music of Igor Stravinsky in this Tufts Family and Children’s Concert. You’ll also meet Tubby the Tuba as he seeks acceptance among the other instruments. The ensemble will share these and other musical stories in a program that is terrific for children in preschool through primary grades.
