The Tufts University Opera Ensemble transports you back to the 1950s with its own rendition of the famous TV show “The Voice of Firestone.” The Tufts opera singers will perform songs and arias that appeared on the show, including favorites from “Falling in love with love” and “It might as well be spring” to Mimi’s aria and Musetta’s waltz from Puccini’s immortal “LaBohème.” There are also unfamiliar but fabulous pieces such as Amy Beach’s “Ah Love but a day,” Arne’s “The Soldier Tired,” and Idabelle Firestone’s theme song “If I could tell you.”
