Gamelan Laras Tentrem and the Tufts University gamelan ensemble, Rinengga Sih Tentrem, perform an afternoon concert of Javanese gamelan music titled “Klenèngan Siyang – Gayeng!” Directed by Darsono Hadiraharjo and Barry Drummond with special guest artists I.M. Harjito and Heni Savitri.

Gamelan is the traditional ensemble music of Java and Bali in Indonesia, made up predominantly of percussive instruments.
