The Tufts University Sunday Concert series presents Sea Smoke: Music of the American Traditions, Dronally Reimagined. With electric cello, drums, dobro, guitar and voice, this quintet of creative improvisors offers an Indian-inspired perspective on original compositions and songs by Harold Arlen, Grace Slick, Ornette Coleman, John Lee Hooker and Pete Seeger. Featuring Medford resident Warren Senders, voice; Vijaya Sundaram, voice and guitar; Lloyd Thayer, dobro; Junko Fujiwara, cello; and Jerome Deupree, drums.
