Ultimate Tango School of Dance presents its weekly Short Sequences and Practica program at the Medford Lodge of Elks. Short Sequences takes place from 7:30 to 8:15 p.m., followed by the Guided Practica from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. Solo Exercises Carlitos Perez way make up the first 30 minutes of the Practica. Cost is $25 for the entire four-hour session, or $10 for just the three-hour Practica. A 90-minute Beginner Tango Class also is being offered at 7:30 p.m. each Tuesday. Cost is $35 for one session, $120 for any four sessions (use the code FOURTUESDAYS for $20 off the price of four sessions); three hours of guided Practica Chiquita is included in both options. Please note that this is the last Ultimate Tango program at the Lodge of Elks; starting in February, all Tuesday practica sessions, as well as Sunday group classes, will take place at the school’s new location, at 349 Washington Street in Malden (next to the Oak Grove MBTA Station).
