Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn and the city Recreation Department present a Winter Extravaganza at Medford City Hall featuring the Medford Tree Lighting and a Winter Market. Support and shop 40-plus handmade artists; decorate cookies or make a gingerbread house; create crafts with the Medford Family Network; take part in the tree lighting ceremony outdoors and visit the opening day of the Jingle Bell Festival’s Holiday Tree Display in the Alden City Council Chambers; visit with “Frozen” characters Elsa, Anna, and Olaf; enjoy live music; and grab some food, or a drink at the beer garden. There also will be a pantry food drive and a Toys for Tots drop box. Note: This event was postponed from its original date of Wednesday, Nov. 30, due to rain.
