The West Medford Community Center’s Elder Services program presents a matinee showing of “The Nutty Professor,” the 1996 comedy starring Eddie Murphy. The ever creative Murphy portrays seven characters in the film, including university professor Sherman Klump, a brainy and kind-hearted man who is morbidly obese. Klump develops a miraculous but experimental weight-loss pharmaceutical, hoping to win the affection of the girl of his dreams. The movie, rated PG-13, will begin at 1:10 p.m. and conclude at 2:45 p.m.  Masks are optional. And Elder Services Senior Lunch will be offered at noon; to reserve a meal, call 781-483-3042.
