This month’s Words and Music program at the West Medford Community Center will feature the WMCC’s director, Lisa Crossman, and frequent musical guest Donna McElroy. In hour one, host Terry E. Carter will chat with Crossman about the community center’s 2024 successes, new programs, planned initiatives, and the state of the organization. In hour two, McElroy will take to the sound stage, showing off her impressive credentials, including a prestigious career as a voice professor at Berklee College of Music. The program also will be carried live by Medford Community Media on the city’s cable access stations and live-streamed on the WMCC Facebook page.

The West Medford Community Center launched Words and Music in July 2017. The event begins with a discussion on a valuable aspect of the community, followed by a performance by a local musician or musicians.
