This month’s Words and Music program, presented by the West Medford Community Center, will be another timely virtual session titled “The Education Equation and COVID-19.” The “Words” segment will explore the virus’ impact on local schooling from the perspective of parents, educators, and school officials. The “Music” portion of the program will feature Janet Casey, a vocalist, concert violinist, choral director and music instructor, who will be joined by her husband, the guitarist Guido Tamburini.

West Medford Community Center launched Words and Music in 2017. Usually presented on the first Friday of every month, the event starts off with a discussion on a valuable aspect of the community, followed by a performance by a local musician or musicians.
