Words and Music: Medford Rocks the Vote
Friday, September 9, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
“Medford Rocks The Vote” is the theme as the West Medford Community Center resumes its Words and Music program, hosted by Terry E. Carter. With the primary election passed, it’s time to gear up for the general election in November. With so much at stake, WMCC wants to do its part by hosting a thoughtful and informative discussion on voting . . . the process, the power, and the push to get out the vote in Medford.
This month’s music will feature Max Heinegg, a true Renaissance man. Max teaches high school English, brews craft beer, and writes and publishes poetry. What’s more, he’s a musician, singer and songwriter. He’ll be joined by one of his former students, the amazing singer Linda Morose.
Seating is limited for in-person viewing, and masks are strongly urged for all attendees. The event also will be shown live on the WMCC Facebook page and on the Medford Community Media public access station (Channel 3 on Comcast and Channel 47 on Verizon).
The West Medford Community Center launched Words and Music in 2017. Usually presented on the first Friday of every month, the event starts off with a discussion on a valuable aspect of the community, followed by a performance by a local musician or musicians.
