Writing Tight: Short Memoirs

FreeThe Medford Public Library kicks off “Writing Tight,” an eight-week memoir-writing course with author Judah Leblang. “Writing Tight” is designed for writers at all levels who want to learn about the process of writing short memoir pieces. This class is not a formal writing workshop, but each student will have a chance to read a complete piece of her/his work. The course will feature short pieces from published writers, writing prompts and exercises, and in-class discussion and feedback.
This class with run on Tuesdays from March 26 through May 14. Space is limited; please register through the library’s online calendar or at the Information Desk at (781-395-7950).
Judah Leblang is a Medford-based writer, teacher and storyteller. He is the author of two memoirs, Finding My Place (2012) and Echoes of Jerry, to be published in 2019.
