One of the most intensely passionate vocalists in New England, Haydee Irizarry — who performs solo as Zahra Lux — returns to The Porch, along with Chris Gardino’s bluesy acoustic guitar. A classically trained multi-instrumentalist and composer with an intensely rich contralto, Irizarry fronts the metal group Carnivora and is known as the Metal Selena. Gardino, an accomplished guitarist, teaches, composes, and performs in the Boston area. He is well known for his versatility, soul, and complete control over the guitar.
