Sanctuary United Church of Christ continues its Black Lives Matter film series with an online showing and discussion of the 1989 Spike Lee film "Do The Right Thing." Black Lives Matter Film Series: Say Her Name
Sanctuary United Church of Christ and Hillside Community Church continue their Black Lives Matter film series with an online showing and discussion of the 2018 documentary "Say Her Name: The Life and Death of Sandra Bland." The HBO film is an investigation into what happened to political activist Sandra Bland, an African-American from Texas who died while in police custody. Access to the film will be required at home.
