Everyone is welcome at Temple Shalom's annual party to celebrate the Festival of Lights. Film and Discussion: Raise the Roof
Temple Shalom invites the community to attend its Cantor’s Adult Education Class, an installment of the Temple Shalom Jewish Film Festival that will feature the highly acclaimed 2015 documentary "Raise the Roof." Artists Rick and Laura Brown are not Jewish and not Polish, and yet they set out to rebuild Gwoździec, a magnificent wooden eighteenth-century synagogue in Poland that was later destroyed by the Nazis. Film and Discussion: The Testament
Temple Shalom invites the community to attend its Cantor’s Adult Education Class, which will feature a screening and discussion of the film "The Testament." The film is a mystery, a history, and a Greek tragedy all rolled into one. Released in 2018, "The Testament" is 88 minutes long and is in Hebrew, English and German (with subtitles).

Temple Shalom presents its annual Hanukkah Party, featuring magic by Mike Harrington, home made latkes, scrap metal menorah making, crafts, games, and balloon animals. Holocaust Remembrance: Dirkje Legerstee
