Rescheduled: Black Violin
Friday, April 17 @ 8:00 pm$22 - $55
Because of the coronavirus outbreak, this appearance at Chevalier Theatre by Black Violin on their Impossible Tour has been postponed and rescheduled for Wednesday, December 16, at 8 p.m. Black Violin is led by two classically trained string instrumentalists, Kevin Sylvester and Wilner Baptiste, who go by the stage names Kev Marcus and Wil B. Kev Marcus plays the violin, and Wil B. plays the viola. Joining them onstage are drummer Nat Stokes and DJ SPS. The band uses their unique blend of classical and hip-hop music, often described as “classical boom,” to overcome stereotypes and encourage people of all ages, races, and economic backgrounds to join together to break down cultural barriers.
Tickets are $22 to $55 through the Chevalier Theatre website/Ticketmaster.
