Community Baptist Church invites you to celebrate “Summer in the Sixties” with a screening of the 1967 British drama film “To Sir, With Love.” Starring Sidney Poitier, the film deals with social and racial issues in an inner city school. It also features Christian Roberts, Judy Geeson, Suzy Kendall and the singer Lulu, making her film debut. The film’s title song. sung by Lulu, reached number one on the U.S. pop charts for five weeks in the fall of 1967 and  was Billboard magazine’s No. 1 pop single for that year.

The film is part of the Community Cinema series that Community Baptist Church launched in December 2018 with the aim of showing films about caring and goodness.
