The Medford Recreation Department invites children ages 6-12 to come to the Medford Recreation Center and carve a pumpkin that will be part of a float in Wright’s Pond during the city’s Halloween Fest on Saturday, October 30. All carving equipment will be provided by the Recreation Department, and Wegmans Food Market is donating 30 pumpkins. Parent/guardian supervision required. This is a free event, but registration is required on the Recreation Department website.

Note: This event has been moved from Wright’s Pond to the Medford Recreation Center due to heavy rain in the forecast. Carved pumpkins also may be dropped off at the Recreation Center on Wednesday, October 27, or Thursday, October 28, between 6:30 and 9 p.m.
