Sarah Bradlee Fulton Day

Saturday, October 2, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Medford is celebrating its first Sarah Bradlee Fulton Day in tribute to the heroine of the American Revolution from Medford, sometimes referred to as “The Mother of the Boston Tea Party.” There will be fife and drum music, a historical walk around Revolutionary Medford led by historian Dee Morris, and Sarah herself portrayed by Laura Duggan, creator of the one-woman performance “The Story of Sarah Bradlee Fulton.” Also on hand will be Fulton’s great-great-great-great granddaughter, Brenda Ely Albus, author of a book about Fulton titled “A Woman Fearing Nothing.”

The historical walk will take place from 10 to 11 a.m.; it will start and end at the Salem Street Burying Group. To register, please email Dee Morris at kittyhawk12348@earthlink.net.
