In an attempt to offer hope, light and beauty in a difficult time, Medford composer and conductor Oliver Caplan presents another of his weekly Wednesday night live-streamed solo performances featuring members of his contemporary chamber music group, Juventas New Music Ensemble. Performing this week will be flutist Nick Southwick. Southwick made his international solo debut at age 18, performing the music of J.S. Bach with the Bermuda Chamber Orchestra in Hamilton, Bermuda. He has since performed in Austria, France, the United Kingdom, and northern Italy, where he held a principal flute fellowship position at the Trentino Festival.
