The Tufts University Opera Ensemble premieres two new operas by Tufts faculty member and Opera Ensemble co-director Thomas Stumpf. “The Nightingale and the Rose” and “The Happy Prince,” both based on stories by Oscar Wilde, will be directed by Carol Mastrodomenico and performed with a chamber orchestra conducted by Tufts student and Medford High graduate Iverson Eliopoulos.
