West Medford Open Studios
Saturday, June 26 @ 11:00 am - 6:00 pm
West Medford Open Studios returns for its 21st year of celebrating art and community! With more than 50 artists from Medford and surrounding communities, WMOS will be staged in a single day outdoors along the Mystic River in West Medford. It’s time to explore the world again in person, so walk, drive, bicycle or paddle over to Dugger Park to see, listen, learn, and take part. Come see paintings, sculpture, pottery, photographs, woodwork, drawings, fabric arts, blown glass, and jewelry— and meet the artists who create them. Take some time to chat with an artist about their process, listen to local writers and musicians, meet up with friends, and enjoy a wonderful day of the arts in West Medford.
The music lineup onstage behind the West Medford Community Center will feature the Juventas New Music Ensemble at 11 a.m., the Occasional Brass Quintet at noon, Al Peterson at 1 p.m., The Porter Squares at 3 p.m., and The Feuds at 5 p.m. Writers at the Dugger courts will be Terry E. Carter at 2 p.m., Judah Leblang at 2:30 p.m., Stephanie Schorow at 3 p.m., Randy Ross at 3:30 p.m., and David Chia at 4 p.m.
